Osguthorpe Round Valley Ranch

Osguthorpe Round Valley Ranch

Acres: 121

Current Use: Alfalfa/oat farming, sheep grazing

Additional Uses: Winter and Summer trails

Description: The Park City Council and the Summit Land Conservancy, in agreement with the Osguthorpe family, have purchased a conservation easement on the family’s 121 acre farm in Round Valley. The property is adjacent to 1300 acres of open space that the City already owns in Round Valley and it also connects with the open space on PC Hill.

The Summit Land Conservancy is honored to work with Park City and the Osguthorpe family to protect this important parcel.

says Summit Land’s Executive Director, Cheryl Fox.

This property is the last piece in the southern end of the Round Valley open space. The family will continue to use it for agriculture, but we will be able to expand the winter trails onto the farmlands, and a connection to the PC Hill trail will be built near the mountain top. We look forward to working with the family to continue their long-time stewardship of this land.
