Adopt an Easement Monitoring Form

Thank you for volunteering your time to help protect Summit County’s open spaces!
Please take a moment to share with us the state of the property you visited today.

Comment if you noticed any of the following warning signs that might be damaging to the property’s conservation values:
Damaged trails
Backhoes
Construction materials
Evidence of off-road vehicles
Obvious noxious weeds
Evidence of hunting or trapping
Anything that may be contradictory or damaging to the conservation easement values
Anything that just doesn't seem right
*Please note that the above list is a summary of basic conservation easement violations. Double check your specific property’s restricted and retained rights as each conservation easement has slightly different restricted rights.

Comment if you noticed any signs of positive improvements in the conservation values:

Wildlife sightings
New nesting or habitat areas
Different or thriving vegetation
Anything else that is different or positive to the conservation values of the property
