Being a small organization, it is difficult for Summit Land Conservancy to manpower all the monitoring of our protected lands ourselves. You can make a valuable contribution by helping us be sure that each property’s conservation easement stipulations are maintained and that our open lands are forever conserved. In addition to making an important difference, adopting an easement is fun, easy and educational!

• You can personally be an active part of preserving Summit County’s own scenic and recreational backyard. While enjoying the wildlife, wildflowers and the changing seasons, you will be part of the Summit County community that is dedicated to actively making a difference.
• Monitoring can be done at your leisure. Whether you are out biking to get some exercise or taking the family out to look for deer. A variety of recreations can be done on our protected lands, such as: hiking, mountain biking, fishing, nature-walking, and wildlife watching.
• You can experience the value of Summit County’s endangered lands. These properties were conserved for a reason, and each property has precious features ranging from McPolin Farm’s historical background to Round Valley’s wildlife habitats. You can learn all about each property’s characteristics and more importantly, the significance of open space conservation!
