Summit Land Conservancy

Let’s help make sure that Round Valley is protected forever!

At the end of 2008, Park City acquired 340-acres at the north end of Round Valley and is now looking to place a permanent conservation easement on this parcel. The Summit Land Conservancy must have a minimum of $6,500 in order to agree to take on the responsibility of monitoring and enforcing the easement.

Join us for cocktails on Friday June 17, 5-7 PM. If each of us comes and donates at least $25, we can raise enough money for the Summit Land Conservancy to be able to accept the conservation easement on the North Round Valley land, insuring that it remains open, undeveloped, and accessible for recreation and wildlife forever.

Thanks to The Canyons, the Conservancy’s 12th Anniversary Conservation breakfast was a huge success. Peter Metcalf, recipient of the Conservancy’s Conservation and Sustainability Award, gave an intelligent and inspiring speech.
