The Summit Land Conservancy is a Park City based land trust that works in partnership with landowners to permanently preserve the remaining agricultural, recreational, scenic, wetland and animal habitat lands in Summit County, Utah.

We hold conservation easements on over 2300 acres of Park City and Summit County’s favorite open lands, from Empire Canyon to the McPolin Farmlands. By the end of 2010, we will have placed an additional 2000 acres of land under easement, creating a permanent legacy of open space for future generations.

The Summit Land Conservancy is currently undergoing accreditation with the the Land Trust Alliance, the national organization governing the more than 1,600 land trusts in the United States. For more information on the Land Trust Alliance and accreditation, visit www.lta.org.
